About the Project
R² Studios, in collaboration with Grosser Constructions, is currently working on delivering a brand new house located on 40 hectares of land in Mandemar, Australia, originally design by TKD Architects. The single-level house features four bedrooms with a secondary dwelling, catering to the client’s needs for a working farm.
The house’s design responds to the landscape and climate, with a form, orientation, and finishes that complement the surrounding environment. The untraditional stone cladding, Tuscan Grey from Egypt, adds a touch of elegance to the house’s exterior, while the aluminium window frames, detailed to look like steel-framed, add a modern edge.
The design includes double glazing, large roof overhangs, and plenty of sheltered spaces that protect from prevailing winds and offer opportunities to enjoy the surroundings at different times of the day and year. The house is a modern take on a traditional Australian farm house, with all the conveniences of modern life. It’s designed to cater to lavish entertaining while also allowing one person to feel cozy and comfortable.
R² Studios, as the project architect, is skilfully delivering TKD Architects design that reflects the client’s needs and responds to the landscape and climate. Grosser Constructions is building the house with precision, bringing the design to life.
This project showcases R² Studios’ expertise in delivering designs that blend seamlessly with their surroundings and cater to the unique needs of each client. The house is a testament to the studio’s commitment to delivering innovative design solutions that are both beautiful and functional while respecting the original design intent.
Overall, the project promises to be a stunning addition to the Australian countryside, providing a comfortable, modern, and functional space for its occupants.
